With a total of nine employees, CMS offers automated data analyses for early damage detection and predictive maintenance. The data is used to derive diagnoses and forecasts so that targeted maintenance and servicing measures can be carried out based on the condition. The offering includes automated vibration analyses and diagnostics as well as complete process evaluations.

The companies ifm diagnostic and CMS have many years of experience working together. The first pilot projects for cloud-based machine diagnostics are already underway. The new company, which will operate under the name ifm diagnostic services in future, will strengthen the 'process' division at ifm. Andreas Hornstein and Michael Danitschek will be operationally responsible for the division together with the current shareholder Christoph Müllner. The central managing directors Lothar Zimmer and Hans Peter Müller will be responsible for the new subsidiary in the 'process' division.
