The live demonstration was located at the Pepperl+Fuchs stand in the area of vibration monitoring and motor control for conveyor solutions. Visitors were able to see a complete sensor-to-cloud solution with data visualization and historical trend analysis. IO-Link sensor and communication products from Pepperl+Fuchs provide functionalities for real-time control and data acquisition of motors, encoders, RFID read heads and vibration sensors. Real-time data visualization and analysis from AWS partner Syntax will be demonstrated, while Proficy Historian from AWS partner GE Digital effectively collects time series data to enable trend analysis. The joint solution runs on the flexible AWS Cloud. There, the AWS IoT services are used to create comprehensive and scalable IIoT applications. The demonstrated condition monitoring system enables customers to remotely monitor operations, improve quality and reduce unplanned downtime.
