Sick
Change in the Management Board
Reinhard Bösl, a long-standing member of the Sick Management Board, is leaving the Sick Management Board. After 13 years, his contract will expire on June 30, 2020 when he reaches the specified age limit for Management Board members.
In July 2007, Bösl was appointed to the Sick Management Board, where he initially occupied the newly created 'Logistics Automation' Management Board position. His area of responsibility was extended early on to include support for Sick's Asian subsidiaries. With the expanded 'Systems & Industries' division, Bösl further developed the factory, logistics and process automation segments as well as the systems business in recent years and made a significant contribution to the broad industry positioning and internationalization of the sensor company.
Bösl's responsibilities in the 'Systems & Industries' division will now be transferred to the existing five members of the Management Board. Sick's Management Board, which will comprise five members from July 2020, will remain unchanged under the chairmanship of Dr. Robert Bauer. It includes Dr. Robert Bauer (Chairman of the Management Board, Technology), Dr. Mats Gökstorp (Sales & Services), Dr. Martin Krämer (HR & Legal), Markus Vatter (Controlling, Finance & IT) and Dr. Tosja Zywietz (Operations).
