Sick strengthens Management Board

Sick AG has added Dr. Tosja Zywietz to its Management Board as of 1 January 2020. He is responsible for the newly created 'Operations' department, which combines the production-related functions including purchasing and quality at Management Board level.

Dr. Tosja Zywietz will be responsible for the new 'Operations' division on Sick's Executive Board.

Dr. Zywietz has held positions of responsibility at the Bavarian technology company Rosenberger Hochfrequenztechnik since 2009, most recently as Chairman of the Management Board. At Sick, he will strengthen the existing Executive Board under the chairmanship of Dr. Robert Bauer and will be responsible for the company's operational business. By integrating purchasing, production and quality into one department, the aim is to achieve an even more direct customer focus in future and to respond more quickly to market developments.

Sick's Management Board now consists of Dr. Robert Bauer (Chairman of the Management Board, Technology), Reinhard Bösl (Systems & Industries), Dr. Mats Gökstorp (Sales & Services), Dr. Martin Kräme (HR & Legal), Markus Vatter (Controlling, Finance & IT) and Dr. Tosja Zywietz (Operations).
