Safety applications up to PLe
Fortress Interlocks is expanding its range of 'amGardPro' solenoid interlocks with the Slimline range of security interlocks and operating elements, which are now available in a narrow 40 mm wide version.
The solenoid interlocks for robust applications can be adapted to customer requirements thanks to their modular design and solve safety applications up to PLe (EN/ISO 13849-1). Their configuration options range from control module, emergency release and emergency stop to signal lamp. The 'Extracted Key' function offers increased protection by removing personal safety keys: before maintenance personnel enter the system, the safety key must be removed and taken into the system. If the safety door is closed unintentionally, the system cannot be started without the key.
