German sales under new management

Matthias Brinkmann has been the new head of the German sales subsidiary of automation company Pilz since January 2021. Brinkmann previously managed Pilz's sales activities in Asia.

In his new position, the 53-year-old will work with the sales team to further expand Pilz 's market position on the German market. Brinkmann will contribute his many years of experience in sales to the task. A future focus in Germany will be on expanding the range of solutions and the necessary close interaction between the market and technology.

Brinkmann has held various positions at Pilz since 2000. In 2002 he became a board member of the user organization Safety Network International. In 2009 he moved to International Sales at Pilz, where he held various management positions. Most recently, as Vice President Asia Pacific since 2016, he was responsible for the activities of the Pilz sales and service subsidiaries in Asia and the Pacific region.

Brinkmann succeeds Martin Frey, who will take over the position of Product Requirement Manager at the sales subsidiary in Germany.
