At the SPS, Pilz will be presenting solutions for safe automation that cover the aspects of safety (machine safety) and industrial security in equal measure.
Visitors can try out for themselves how batch size 1 can be easily implemented for their own requirements: Using the online tool 'myPNOZ Creator', visitors can easily create their own individual and needs-based safety solution based on the modular safety relay 'myPNOZ' from a wide range of possible variations, completely without programming knowledge.
The modular safety relay or the configurable small controller 'PNOZmulti 2' are part of a comprehensive solution for safe monitoring of the carton supply to packaging machines: Pilz presents the solution comprising 'PSEN' (safe sensor technology) and the safety relay or small controller for packaging.
Complete safety gate solutions including access authorization are another topic at the trade fair: How can safety gates be efficiently secured with individually adaptable solutions? How can safety and security requirements be implemented in equal measure? The modular safety gate system from Pilz provides the answer: In the safety gate system, all modules can be individually combined to provide flexible protection for walk-in doors. Using the door handle module 'PSENmlock' as the latest addition to the safety gate system, it will be shown how this solution comprising door handle module with integrated actuator and integrated escape release - plus the safe safety gate sensor 'PSENmlock' for safe interlocking and safe guard locking - can be used to implement individually adaptable and safe solutions.
