Vertical access to sheets

The magnetic gripper from Goudsmit Magnetics is used to automatically pick up, place or position steel objects or other ferromagnetic objects.

Furthermore, other ferromagnetic objects - such as picking up sheets from presses, destacking products from boxes (bin picking), assembling steel parts or handling punched steel parts, blanks and perforated steel sheets in robot applications.

The magnetic gripper is equipped with strong, permanent neodymium magnets and can be used in grippers on robot arms. The handling magnets can be switched on and off using compressed air; they have a threaded hole for attachment to the robot arm, if necessary in conjunction with a spring plunger.
