Measuring technology function range extended
The 'Dasylab PLC Edition' software package from SL-automation enables industrial companies to access their programmable logic controllers via 'Dasylab' software. Now a further developed 'PLC Edition' with an extended range of functions is being launched on the market.
The tool focuses on the energy, automotive and processing industries. Data can be read out and optionally written to the controllers. Even without programming knowledge, users receive comprehensive monitoring for analysis, diagnosis, optimization, quality control and archiving.
The new version adds three key features to the existing technical characteristics: a compatibility update to 'Dasylab 2016' and later. Another new feature is integration for S7-1200 and S7-1500 controllers with TIA Portal programming. The driver has also been upgraded in terms of channels: The number of PLC access points has increased from 16 to 256 per module.
