Robotics Award 2018 for Heinz Berger Maschinenfabrik
A specialist in grinding and polishing technology is the winner of the Robotics Award 2018. Heinz Berger Maschinenfabrik from Wuppertal won the award with a process chain consisting of robot cells that is used as a polishing system for pots and pans.
For the past eight years, Deutsche Messe, organizer of the Hannover Messe, has presented the 'Robotics Award' to an innovative robot-supported solution in the field of industrial automation or mobile robots and autonomous systems. Entries must be market-ready or already industrially tested and presented to the public for the first time at the Hannover Messe. In its decision, the jury attaches particular importance to the fact that the automation solutions are advanced in both technological and economic terms and make a significant contribution in industrial or social terms.
