Hanover Fair 2018Robotics Award 2018 for Heinz Berger Maschinenfabrik
A specialist in grinding and polishing technology is the winner of the Robotics Award 2018. Heinz Berger Maschinenfabrik from Wuppertal won the award with a process chain consisting of robot cells that is used as a polishing system for pots and pans.
The automation specialist drag&bot from Stuttgart made it into the top 3 with a programming platform that enables industrial robots from a wide range of manufacturers to be intuitively programmed, operated and used flexibly. A cloud-based and graphical user interface can be used from anywhere. The software can also be expanded for all relevant hardware and software. Operation requires neither robots nor IT expertise. This solution therefore allows industrial robots to be used economically, even in small quantities.
