Robotics Award 2017 for simulation software

First place in this year's Robotics Award went to the company Flexstructures from Kaiserslautern. It entered the competition with a smart software solution. Computer&AUTOMATION shows the three finalists of the Robotics Award.

Oliver Hermanns took first place in the Robotics Award 2017 for the software solution developed by his company Flexstructures at the Hannover Messe.

Every year, Deutsche Messe, the organizer of the Hannover Messe, presents the Robotics Award in recognition of technological innovations that contribute to robot-assisted solutions in the field of industrial automation/mobile robots and autonomous systems. The condition for participation is that the submission must be presented to the public for the first time at the Robotics Award or be a significant further development. The jury also makes sure that the solution is at least market-ready, or better still industrially tested, and is considered to be particularly advanced. This year, the jury selected the following solutions at the Hannover Messe 2017:
