On course for growth with a new management team

The robotics company Franka Emika sets course for growth with the appointment of Dr. Alwin Mahler as CEO.

Franka Emika, provider of RaaS (Robotics as a Service) based on an AI-supported collective machine learning platform, will offer robotics services for wider use. According to the company, digital business expert Mahler brings the realization of the company's vision to provide industry with easily accessible robotics services to increase productivity within reach. Mahler, who holds a doctorate in economics, worked at Google for more than ten years, most recently as Managing Director Global Partnerships in Europe. Mahler has also been appointed to supervisory boards, institutional and association boards for his expertise in the digital transformation of business and society. At Franka Emika, Mahler and his team want to bring robotics into a wide range of applications, in industry and beyond, without programming knowledge and with low resource expenditure.

Also new to Franka Emika is Chief Developer Dr. Patrick Pfaff as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Pfaff was appointed Managing Director in April 2021 and previously led global development teams for Mobile Robotics, Cobot Control, Programming Tools and IoT at Kuka.

The majority of the shares will continue to be held by the founders. Sami Haddadin, the innovative mind behind the technology, and Simon Haddadin, who previously led the company, will join the Supervisory Board to support the successful realization of the Franka-Emika vision by the new management.
