Matthias Fritz is responsible for technical sales at Synapticon and is also a member of the management board. In this position, he will work closely with the two founders of Synapticon, Nikolai Ensslen (CEO) and Andrija Feher (CTO).
Matthias Fritz joined Fanuc Germany in 2011 as Technical Director. He supported the robotics company for nine years, including several years as 'Managing Director Technology' in a leading position.

Synapticon, based in Schönaich near Stuttgart, Shanghai and Redwood (Silicon Valley), is active in the field of embedded systems and was founded in Gruibingen in the Swabian Alb in 2011. The company's technology enables intelligent robotic motion and includes hardware and software for networked control systems. The compact 'Somanet Servo Nodes', which can be integrated directly into robot arms, servo motors and machines, play a central role in Synapticon's portfolio. They support decentralized drive systems and enable distributed control intelligence. This eliminates the need for numerous cables between the control cabinet and the driven axis. The control computer is massively relieved and slimmed down, thus becoming smaller and can also be integrated decentrally. This brings advantages for collaborative robots (cobots), SCARAs (Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arms), 6-axis arms and machines in the fields of packaging, printing, woodworking, textiles and light CNC machining.
