Dr. Kegel on the advisory board of Ubito
Ubito, globally active in Wiegand energy harvesting technology and part of the internationally active Fraba Group, has announced that Dr. Gunther Kegel has joined the company's Advisory Council. As CEO of Pepperl+Fuchs for many years, Dr. Kegel has been a key figure in industrial automation for decades.
Kegel's experience and industry knowledge will help Ubito navigate the next phase of growth as the company scales its technology for the rapidly growing robotics market.

According to Ubito, multi-turn encoders powered via Wiegand energy harvesting are becoming indispensable components in mobile robots, collaborative robots (cobots), service robots and autonomous vehicles, as these highly dynamic systems require precise motion detection and maintenance-free reliability, as offered by Wiegand energy harvesting technology. Because it generates its own energy for signals and processing, Wiegand technology enables self-powered, reliable and wear-free position tracking without batteries or mechanical wear and tear. This sustainable and robust approach supports the new generation of intelligent robots.
