Energy-efficient servomotors for transport robots

Groschopp offers the 'EGK65-30NAE' servo motor for extra-low voltages from 24 V to a maximum of 60 V. It can be integrated into battery-powered systems in particular and is suitable for mobile applications such as driverless transport vehicles in warehouse logistics.

The 'Black Panther' series from Groschopp represents the third generation of electronically commutated servo motors. According to the manufacturer, the consistent optimization of the active core elements stator, rotor and magnets as well as the use of a modern single-tooth winding has increased the power density by a factor of two to three compared to conventional servo motors. With size EGK80-40, Groschopp is expanding this series and offers features such as optional sinusoidal commutation, very good synchronization properties, especially at low speeds, as well as lower noise and heat generation.
The highly automated low-voltage servomotors have an integrated servo controller. The digital and analog inputs and outputs as well as the internal MPU (Motion Process Unit) allow complex sequences to be freely programmed. Thanks to its electronic and design options, the servo motor can be configured for various applications and is optionally available with a Profinet or CAN interface.
