Groschopp
Two-stage worm gearboxes
Groschopp is launching new gearbox variants onto the market with the 'ZK' series. The aluminum ZK30 gearboxes can be combined with the manufacturer's induction or servo motors.
The series is used where an angled outlet or a compact size is required. The ZK30 is available for a nominal torque of 30 Nm, with versions for 50 Nm in the pipeline. Thanks to the combination of worm and helical gear stages, the gearbox offers ratios from 34.5:1 to 690:1 and, according to the manufacturer Groschopp, a significantly better efficiency than two-stage worm gearboxes. The worm stage and helical gearing in the spur gear stage also ensure low-noise operation. The ZKS30 gearbox variant in stainless steel is available for applications such as the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries as well as in the offshore sector. Other features include ball bearings and a 14 mm solid shaft or 15 mm hollow shaft in the output. The load capacity of the output shaft is 300 N radially and 140 N axially. The radial load of the hollow shaft depends on the design of the stub shaft.
