With the 'Nordac Pro SK 500P', Nord Drivesystems has a control cabinet inverter that is available in variants in a power range from 0.25 to 22 kW, which can be assigned to different requirements in different industries.

As with all inverters in the 'Nordac Pro' series from Nord Drivesystems, one of the key elements is the integrated multi-protocol Ethernet interface. This allows the control component to be integrated into various networks without retrofitting. This includes the Profinet, Ethercat, Ethernet/IP and Powerlink protocols. Depending on the model, other protocols are also covered. The inverter can also be parameterized without voltage via a USB interface. The integrated PLC reacts independently to changes in the system processes and is therefore able to relieve the higher-level control system. The 'Posicon' positioning function performs various positioning tasks. It can control both relative and absolute positioning using incremental or absolute encoders. Sequential positioning of up to four axes is possible via parameter set changeover. The inverter has vector control with an overload reserve of 200 %.
