Christophe Coulongeat takes over the management
Christophe Coulongeat will take over the management of Stäubli Robotics at the turn of the year. He replaces Gerald Vogt, who will become the new Managing Director of the Stäubli Group on January 1, 2021.
New head for Stäubli Robotics: Christophe Coulongeat takes over the management of the robotics division from Gerald Vogt, who is promoted to Managing Director of the Stäubli Group. In his new role, Coulongeat will also be given a seat on the Group Management Board. Born in France, he has been with Stäubli since 2018 as Deputy Head of the Robotics division. Prior to this, he gained experience in the packaging and automation industry in France, Austria, the United Arab Emirates and Switzerland.
"Christophe Coulongeat is a dynamic, future-oriented manager. His international experience in the industry is a great advantage for our customers. I am convinced that he will further develop the Stäubli Group's global robotics business and take it to a new level," explains Gerald Vogt, new CEO of the Stäubli Group and former Head of Robotics.
Coulongeat holds a degree in Engineering from the University of Poitiers and a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management from ESVII. He has also participated in executive education programs at IMD Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management and Columbia Business School.
