The acquisition expands Locus' line of AMR solutions that cover use cases ranging from e-commerce, case and pallet picking to tasks requiring larger and heavier payloads and fulfillment modalities.

Waypoint's 'Vector' and 'MAV3K' mobile robot platforms are industrial-grade and omnidirectionally mobile and can be equipped with a variety of modules and attachments. They are also compatible with robots such as 'LocusBots' and can easily communicate with machines and IoT devices in a plant.

The multi-bot solution from Locus Robotics, based in Wilmington, Massachusetts (USA), consists of intelligent autonomous mobile robots that work together with human workers to increase productivity in unit load handling by 2 to 3 times compared to conventional unit load handling systems.

Waypoint Robotics, based in Nashua, New Hampshire (USA), develops and manufactures omnidirectional, autonomous, mobile robots for automated material handling.
