"Our decision to expand our presence in the European market was a logical step in our growth strategy," said Rick Faulk, CEO of Locus Robotics. "With Amsterdam, we have chosen a central location that is ideal for servicing our customer base while giving us access to a vibrant and diverse talent pool from which we can recruit new employees." Locus recently passed the milestone of half a billion picks; the LocusBots now pick almost two million items per day.

The new site will also assemble and maintain the company's autonomous mobile robot solution for the European market, enabling faster deployment, management and support services.
