Ininet Solutions launches 'SpiderControl HMI Editor' version 8.
Users standardize their HMI development with the Ininet tool. Editor 8 contains new functionalities and, according to the manufacturer, offers improved usability: all functions for creating an HMI project are summarized as an interactive flowchart in the 'Start Page', in which both the HMI design and the configuration of recipes, user rights and languages are summarized.
The driver configuration has been simplified and a browser function has been integrated for OPC UA in particular, which allows you to connect directly to an OPC UA server, browse the name spaces and import the desired variables directly into the project. In the 'shop window function', for example, various 'button' types are directly animated and interactively displayed via a browser. In the HMI design, for example, there is now a library of HMI objects in tile style that can be used for 'Responsive Design' operations. Functions can be linked using the 'swipe' gesture.
