For mounting on smooth surfaces

With the ITO-Key from the glass-to-touch series, LNT Automation has developed a pushbutton that can be mounted on smooth surfaces using an adhesive layer and is practically wear-free thanks to its capacitive technology.

The button is mounted using an adhesive film that ensures a secure hold on smooth surfaces. The key can be freely positioned independently of the display and can be attached to glass or acrylic glass up to 6 mm or 3 mm thick. If the surfaces are dry and free of dirt, dust, oil, grease and other contaminants, optimum bond strength is guaranteed, according to the manufacturer. The durability of the adhesive can be increased by pretreating the surface before installation. As the capacitive button is usually installed behind a closed surface and no breakthrough is necessary, cleaning is very easy, making the ITO-Key particularly suitable for use in areas with a high degree of contamination or strict hygiene regulations. Customers can configure the functionality of the button themselves. Using software developed specifically for the ITO-Key and a USB cable, customers can set various parameters themselves.
