Control panel with finger guidance

B&R now incorporates typical operating functions directly into the front glass of touchscreen panels. Hardware elements such as function keys and rotary switches are no longer necessary.

B&R now integrates function buttons and rotary switches directly into the front glass of projected capacitive touchscreens. As a result, the panel variants no longer offer any contact surfaces for dirt and contamination and are therefore ideal for environments with the highest hygienic requirements. If the user so wishes, the company now provides all variants with a projected capacitive touchscreen with corresponding finger guides.

The entire display surface is thus available for displaying sliders or dials, for example. The finger guides patented by B&R are tactile and enable so-called "blind operation". The machine operator can, for example, observe a machine process and make settings without having to look away from the machine.

Ergonomic finger guide

The finger guides, which are around 1 mm deep, can be frosted or clear for ergonomic operation. The panels are available in screen diagonals from 5" to 24" as a display unit or panel PC.

The panels are optionally available in a seamless stainless steel housing with IP69K protection. Only particularly resistant materials such as polished stainless steel, high-quality polyester films and special sealing materials are used for the hygienic design of the panels.
