Designed for single-handed operation, the infrared inspection devices capture high-quality images of hot spots on machines and factory equipment to detect potential problems before they lead to failures. Both models can also be used by customers with no prior knowledge of infrared imaging. They can store around 500 images and use an integrated personal assistant to organize the captured images and add user information.

Key features include voice memos - users can record short notes with up to 60 seconds of voice recording for each thermal image - and IR photo orientation images. This allows users to add photos from the visible spectral range to the thermal image file and use them as a reference when analyzing results. Asset tagging allows users to scan a QR code on an asset to automatically organize and archive thermal images. This prevents data entry errors as measurements are saved directly from the camera and linked to the asset record.

Fluke 's thermal imaging cameras are waterproof and dustproof (IP54) and can withstand a drop from a height of two meters. They have a wireless interface for easy connection to PCs and portable devices such as iPhones and iPads.
