Plan production changes with foresight
Contact Software launches a new version of the open low-code platform Elements.
If an article needs to be replaced in the product structure in the future, for example due to new DIN standards or the use of other components, product development can now plan this for production in advance. To do this, users of the open low-code platform Elements from Contact Software can individually define until when or from when released documents and articles are valid. The 'Requirements Engineering' module simplifies end-to-end requirements management in CIM Database PLM. A 'baselining' mechanism enables users to freeze working statuses of object structures at the touch of a button and compare the copies created in this way. Changes in the specifications are visually highlighted and can be quickly identified and evaluated. 3D Connect' is a universal visualization solution that makes 3D models available throughout the company even without a CAD system or separate viewer.
