New board elected
The VDMA Software and Digitalization Association has a new Board of Directors: the members elected Michael Finkler, Managing Director of proAlpha Business Solutions, as the new Chairman of the Board.
Michael Finkler succeeds Karl Friedrich Schmidt, who has successfully led the VDMA Software and Digitalization Association for the past four years and was not allowed to stand for re-election in accordance with the articles of association. As founder and CEO, Finkler has built up the companies proAlpha and Alpha Business Solutions since 1994 and was responsible for the merger to form the proAlpha Group in 2015.
Matthias Dietel, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at IBM Germany, and Sebastian Betzin, CEO of generic.de software technologies, were elected as deputies.
