Prostep / Siemens

Inka Krischke,

Cooperation expanded

Prostep and Siemens Digital Industries Software have expanded their collaboration: Now the Siemens software Polarion ALM and Teamcenter Manufacturing from the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio can also be connected to Prostep's OpenPDM integration platform.

The aim of the collaboration is to better support customers in end-to-end digitization. Prostep gains access to additional Siemens technologies and can develop easy-to-maintain standard connectors to Polarion, the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution, and to the production planning software Teamcenter Manufacturing based on the official programming interfaces. These connectors simplify the connection of both systems with third-party enterprise applications such as PDM/PLM or ERP. The OpenPDM integration platform reduces the effort required to develop and maintain proprietary interfaces and facilitates the synchronization or linking of digital information from different source systems.
