Control platform-independent use
The 'Plant iT Batch Orchestration System (BOS)' from Proleit is a solution for companies in the process industry that can be used independently of the control platform and brings the IT/OT world together.
According to Proleit, the BOS is equipped for all batch management requirements in modular systems. The system focuses on flexibility in the execution of individual recipe steps in batch orchestration. Current recipes or batches can be extended or adapted at any time in order to avoid material losses. All changes are documented. Variable interfaces to other systems, databases and control systems are available. This means that the system can be integrated into an existing structure or SCADA solution regardless of the control platform; it can also be used as a stand-alone process control system. The management, monitoring and control of batch processes are at the heart of the system. Dashboards provide insights into process sequences or the capacity utilization of a plant via key figures prepared in real time.
