Automatic 3D comparison of CAD data

DataCAD Software & Services has released an updated version of the 3D CAD viewer Glovius. Glovius is an analysis tool for viewing, measuring, dynamic cutting, comparing and printing 3D CAD models and assemblies.

The new features of the current version include faster access to the most recently used files, improved point-to-point measurements and an optimized user interface for 3D comparison. No license of the corresponding CAD system (such as Catia, Inventor, SolidWorks or Solid Edge) is required for the display and analysis of native CAD data.
The automatic comparison of 3D CAD data helps with the detection, report generation and visualization of CAD design changes. The comparison function performs a B-Rep-based comparison of the 3D geometry and enables differences in any two 3D CAD files to be checked and inspected. According to the provider, 3D data can be saved directly as a 3D PDF or 3D HTML file and displayed in the web browser.
