Scan floor plans with tablet

WSCAD presents numerous product innovations relating to the E-CAD solution. These include the first functions of the next version, Suite X Plus, with a completely newly developed editor and improvements in terms of overall performance, app enhancements and interfaces.

The editor speeds up the entire design process and offers full compatibility with DXF and DWG data. The previously required conversion and the associated import and export of data is no longer necessary.

Existing buildings and electrical installations often lack current floor plans and wiring diagrams in the form of PDF or DXF data. Instead of time-consuming re-measurement and conversion into an electronic format, WSCAD offers the new 'Building AR' app for mobile devices: simply scan the room with a tablet and building technicians, electricians or electrical planners have exact electronic floor plans for further planning of the building technology and electrical installation in Suite X Plus. This saves time and avoids errors.

Thanks to numerous interfaces to PLM and ERP systems as well as to other automation suppliers, work processes can be optimized and data disruptions avoided. The new interfaces available with Suite X Service Pack 3 include, for example, the Siemens TIA Portal (programming the controller), M-Print PRO from Weidmüller (labeling texts) or Clip Project Planning and Project Complete from Phoenix (editing terminal strips).
