Atos leads C2NET consortium
The first cloud-based collaboration platform for SMEs in the manufacturing industry: this is the goal of the EU-funded C2NET consortium led by Atos.
With the help of a central platform, product, process and logistics data can be securely stored, processed and forwarded in the cloud to support companies in optimizing their production and logistics supply chains.

© AtosThe C2NET consortium (Cloud Collaborative Manufacturing Networks) led by Atos aims to provide SMEs with a centralized and cost-effective platform with cloud support. This will reduce the complexity of current systems in production management. According to Atos, this results in the following advantages
- Real-time data analysis - companies can react faster and more efficiently
- Easy access to supply chain management data, anytime and anywhere - via any mobile device (laptop, tablet, smartphone)
- User-friendly, secure system for collaboration and sharing best practices - increasing productivity and competitiveness
In addition to leading the consortium, Atos is actively involved in the development and implementation of the C2NET platform. This includes the coordination of the implementation of the pilot projects and the development of the business models.
Concept demonstration
The results of C2NET are being put into practice in four pilot projects in the automotive, dermocosmetics, hydraulics and lubricants and 'SMEs in industrial parks' sectors. Supply network partners share assets and information via the cloud, cooperate on production and delivery schedules across the entire supply network and provide decision-makers with real-time data analysis.
The European Union is funding the project as part of the Horizon 2020 programme, which is made up of Atos, 19 European organizations and one third party. The consortium includes: Atos, Universidad Politècnica de València, Armines (Mines Albi as third party), IK4-Ikerlan, UNINOVA, Instituto Tecnológico de Informática, Tampere University of Technology, Teknologian tutkimuskeskus VTT Oy, Linagora, Caja Magica, Faurecia, Novatec, Pierre Fabre, Interop-VLab, Fluidhouse, TecMinho, Flexefelina and Antonio Abreu Metalomecânica.
