Apps for energy management
With the IIoT solution 'Schmersal Cloud Solution', data and information from production can be collected, made available centrally in the back office and analyzed in real time.
The basis of Schmersal 's IIoT solution is the field level, which includes networked sensors and actuators as well as safety switching devices. The 'Cloud Solution' acts as a link between the field and back office levels. The aim is to increase the efficiency of machines and systems through condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and the calculation of key performance indicators (KPIs). In future, the cloud solution will also offer apps for energy management, which can be used to monitor power peaks and identify potential energy savings.
