The new version V5.10 of Softing's dataFEED OPC Suite Extended now offers MQTT subscriber functions and various data pre-processing options.
The new version V5.10 of Softing's dataFEED OPC Suite Extended is now available. With the help of the new MQTT subscriber, data can be received from an MQTT broker and forwarded to other applications via OPC UA or written to a controller. This makes it possible to implement a recipe manager in the cloud, for example. In addition, extensive data pre-processing options allow mathematical and logical calculations to be carried out. Use cases include converting a temperature value from Celsius to Fahrenheit or filtering out a specific bit of a word.
The dataFEED OPC Suite Extended is a complete package for OPC communication and cloud connection. The suite can be used to access the controllers of leading manufacturers and IoT devices.
