Siemens - 1st quarter 2018'Digital Factory' and 'Mobility' stand out
Siemens has announced its figures for the first quarter: the company is growing in terms of both order intake and sales - thanks to strong contributions from the Mobility and Digital Factory Divisions. In contrast, the result of the Industrial Business declined.

According to Siemens, order intake at Building Technologies remained at a strong level, as the division included a higher volume of larger orders in the same quarter of the previous year. The growth in sales is attributable in particular to the regions of Asia, Australia and the Americas - with double-digit percentage growth on a comparable basis in China and the USA.
