Siemens - 1st quarter 2018'Digital Factory' and 'Mobility' stand out
Siemens has announced its figures for the first quarter: the company is growing in terms of both order intake and sales - thanks to strong contributions from the Mobility and Digital Factory Divisions. In contrast, the result of the Industrial Business declined.

In the 'Energy Management' sector, there was a lower volume of major orders, mainly in the transmission solutions business. There was also a decline in orders in the high-voltage products and transformers businesses. According to Siemens, growth in revenue on a comparable basis was primarily due to an increase in business with medium and low-voltage products.
