Display Visions at the SPS 2023

Inka Krischke,

Communicative small controller

The PLC family of small control units from Display Visions is communicative: the control unit already contains a color display with touch and addresses up to 50 remote satellite displays for supervising, setup and individual displays.

The central control unit of the Display Visions device family is called 'Core' and communicates its measurement and process data via a 2.8-inch, brilliant IPS display. This has a touch panel for entering control commands and parameters. Networking with the satellite units is automatic. For this purpose, the Core has Ethernet and an RS485 interface; it can also communicate wirelessly via WLAN. The measured values and parameters are updated automatically. The function of the satellite terminals is not tied to a specific location, but is assigned via software so that process data can be visualized via any connected display or parameter data can be entered via another device. The Core is designed for top-hat rail mounting.
