Touch displays with logic and outputs

The touch displays in the 'uniTFT' product family from Display Visions can both receive and output data. Thanks to the integrated I/O and graphics controller, users can also use them to implement a complete small controller without additional hardware.

The small controller is capable of arithmetic and logical operations as well as data communication and storage. Interfaces such as I2C, SPI, RS232 and USB are available for data exchange with external sensors or microcontrollers. The small controllers from Display Visions can receive measured values and issue control commands via four analog inputs and eight freely definable I/O interfaces. The number of I/Os can be expanded up to 136. Thanks to a typical brightness of 1,000 cd/m2, the displays offer an image that is easy to read from almost any direction, even in direct sunlight. The optically bonded capacitive touch surface allows the implementation of multi-gestures. The displays are available in screen diagonals ranging from 1.5 to 4.3 inches.
