According to Kunbus, the IPC can be used as a small industrial controller, a smart IIoT gateway or an edge device thanks to a variety of expansion modules. In addition to various digital and analog I/O modules, the expansion modules also include fieldbus and industrial Ethernet gateways, which also have UL certification.

The 'Revolution Pi' comes with a customized 'Raspbian' operating system with real-time patch installed as standard. Developed and tested in accordance with industry standards EN 61131-2 and IEC 61131-2, the system has been specially developed for industrial environments.
