The embedded controller has three 2.5 GBase-T Ethernet ports, two of which have PoE, four USB interfaces, two DisplayPorts and a configurable serial interface. Thanks to the functional safety functions integrated into the chip, the Atom processors meet the requirements of IEC 61508 and ISO 13849 for functional safety. The Acceed computer is prepared for top-hat rail mounting. Features include two 4K display ports, two USB 3.1 and two USB 2.0 interfaces and COM ports for general industrial applications. The functional expansions possible via the MezIO slot include isolated DIO, RS232/422/485, USB 3.1 (Gen1), ignition control, memory and 4G/5G modules. The computer also has an internal M.2 E Key socket for a Google TPU or a Movidius VPU module from Intel, which can be used to convert the controller into a simple AI edge inference platform.
