The compact device with a robust, fanless design offers the same GPU performance as a mainstream GPU PC with 120 W at 30 W power consumption. The controller has four PoE+ interfaces, two 2.5-inch hard disk bays and additional I/O connections. The four Gigabit network ports with PoE can supply 25.5 W of power to connected PD devices (powered devices).

For data storage, Acceed 's 'NRU-120S' is equipped with an M.2 socket (2280 NVM Express) for fast SSD read and write and two hard disk bays in addition to the 32 Gbyte eMMC on the Xavier module. The two hot-swappable 2.5-inch slots for SSD or HDD are accessible from the front. The device's internal mini PCIe socket can accommodate a WiFi or 4G module, for example. The PPS input enables cross-platform synchronization based on the common time reference provided by the GPS module.
