Portwell has announced a series of mainboards, computer modules and embedded systems with the Intel Atom processors of the x7000RE series.
The Intel Atom x7000RE series processors build on the features of the previous generation, but offer better performance scalability with up to eight Gracemont cores at low power consumption, improved CPU and GPU capabilities and AI inference acceleration with support for AVX2 and VNNI, according to the vendor. The Intel Atom x7000RE series is suitable for AI and media processing in industrial applications with its extended temperature range, predictable performance, real-time capabilities thanks to Intel TCC and TSN, and integrated GPU.
The 'Portwell Nano-6064-ASL' with extensive connectivity options supports M.2, microSD, SATA III, TPM, three displays including HDMI, DisplayPort and LVDS. With its extended temperature range of -40 to 85 °C, it is suitable for safety-relevant applications such as the control of medical systems, planning stations, imaging and analysis systems, industrial automation and robotics.
The 'PCOM-B646' is a COM Express Revision 3.1 Type 6 module that covers the needs of most Type 6 users. The module is an Atom platform with low power consumption and a wide temperature range. The additional CAN bus extends its field of application to areas such as automotive, medical and machine control where CAN bus support is required.
According to Portwell, the 'PCOM-BA03GL COM Express Type 10 Module' delivers high computing power. With up to 16 Gbyte onboard LPDDR5 SDRAM and 32 Gbyte eMMC memory, it is generously equipped. Its power consumption is specified at 6 to 12 W, 4 K displays are supported.
The 'WEBS-21J0-ASL' is designed for industrial applications where a robust design for harsh environmental conditions is required. The temperature range of -20 to 60 °C and the fanless design ensure reliable operation under demanding conditions. Thanks to a wide range of I/O interfaces, the WEBS-21J0-ASL can be seamlessly integrated into a variety of environments.
