Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IIoT) made it possible for factories and machines to communicate with each other. Sensor-equipped devices created the basis for data-driven tasks, optimized maintenance and more precise production.
Today, advances in artificial intelligence (AI) are helping to revolutionize companies and entire industries. From automated optical inspection to autonomous vehicles and medical diagnostics, AI has the potential to simplify our lives in many ways.
Technology is shaping our future: in 2023, quantum computing and 5G are on the starting blocks, but cyber security is also becoming an increasingly important issue. In view of these new technologies, it is of great importance to ensure that they are used for the benefit of society and the environment.
