Impressions from embedded world 2022
Six halls, two conferences, exhibitor forums and summer temperatures: everyone is looking forward to being #reunited again at embedded world 2022.
The joy of reunion dominated at embedded world: NürnbergMesse had already drawn attention to the event on social media under the motto #reunited. The pleasing influx of visitors ensured that many old acquaintances and business partners were able to meet up again or ran into each other by chance. "A face-to-face meeting has a completely different quality than a video meeting," said Calista Redmond, Chair of the open source organization RISC V International, for example. "I can better assess who I'm dealing with and build trust before deciding on a business partner."
Due to the postponement to the summer, some things were unusual:
- The embedded world Conference took place in a subdivided hall, as the conference center was occupied by another event.
- Beautiful weather instead of snow flurries,
- Exhibitor evening as a barbecue party,
- Fashion trend among trade fair visitors: shorts
But there were also the tried and tested constants:
- Good attendance on the first day, strongest influx of visitors on the second day, relaxation on the third day
- embedded world Conference with around 200 presentations, 10 classes and three keynotes
- electronic displays Conference with three parallel lecture strands for the first time
- The presentation of the embedded awards
