Harting wins Hermes Award 2016
Harting beat four other competitors to win the international innovation prize 'Hermes Award 2016' with its mini industrial computer 'MICA'. This is the second time that the jury has chosen the company from Espelkamp.
The Hermes Award 2016 was presented during the opening ceremony of the Hannover Messe on April 24, 2016. This is the second time that the family-owned company Harting has received the International Industry Award, having won the Hermes Award in 2006 with an RFID solution. This year, the jury was impressed by its Mini-Box Industrial PC 'MICA':
In addition to the winner Harting, the following companies were nominated for the Hermes Award this year: Block Transformers, J. Schmalz, ITM Power and DDM Systems. The products will be on display at the companies' stands during the Hannover Messe 2016 (April 24 to 29). The innovation stand 'tech transfer - Gateway2Innovation' (Hall 2, Stand B02) will also provide information about all the nominated entries and the companies behind them.
