Embedded computers for kiosk and robotics applications

Advantech launches the fanless edge computer 'ARK-3533' for kiosk and robotics applications. It is powered by Intel Core i3/i5/i7/i9 35W desktop processors of the 12th and 13th generation.

The device offers a 9 to 36 V(DC) input voltage range. Its shock-resistant design can also withstand temperatures from -20 to +60 °C. According to the manufacturer, the computer facilitates robotics and intelligent control management thanks to a range of versatile I/Os. Over 24 devices can be connected. The computer can be seamlessly integrated into Windows and Linux systems. It is compatible with the 'Advantech Robotics SDK', which provides a containerized framework for simplifying the development, deployment and management of ROS systems together with pre-validated peripheral sensors. The Edge Computer is particularly suitable for AI inference tasks. Dual DDR5 4800 MHz SODIMM memory with up to 64 Gbyte is supported.
