Dr. Dirk Haft joins the company as the new CEO and Daniel Jürgens as the new CFO. Gerhard Edi, previously CTO, will take over the newly created position of CSO (Chief Strategy Officer). Konrad Garhammer, previously Global Director Engineering, will move up to the position of CTO. The newly formed management team aims to accelerate internationalization, make supply chains more efficient and generate further growth in new markets, such as functional safety and critical infrastructures. According to the company, this requires Congatec to build up new expertise in both software and manufacturing.

Dr. Dirk Haft brings more than 20 years of experience in managing technology companies. Before joining Congatec, he was a member of the board of Wittenstein and CEO of Attocube Systems.

Before joining Congatec, Daniel Jürgens was CFO at VIA optronics, a high-tech company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Konrad Garhammer joined Congatec in 2016 from what is now Saab Sensor Systems Germany (formerly Saab Medav Technologies). Under the leadership of Gerhard Edi, he expanded the global development team as Director Engineering, developed it technologically, set it up in an organizationally agile manner and managed it as Edi's right-hand man.

While Jürgens has been with Congatec since September 2021, Dr. Haft took up his new role on November 1, 2021. Gerhard Edi and Konrad Garhammer moved to their new positions on December 15. Their predecessors, CEO Jason Carlson and CFO Josef Wenzl, will accompany the new management team as Senior Advisors to ensure a smooth transition.
