Congatec is expanding its portfolio with five new COM-HPC Server Size D modules with Intel Xeon D-2700 processors.

With this launch, the company is responding to the industry's growing demand for edge server performance in a small, robust form factor suitable for outdoor use. The modules are equipped with Intel Xeon D-2700 processors with up to twenty cores and are therefore also suitable for mixed-critical real-time applications.

The number of supported DRAM modules is halved from eight to four compared to the already available, larger COM-HPC Server Size E modules. Nevertheless, 512 GB DDR4 RAM with 2,933 MT/s is available. The number of cores available on the form factor doubles from 10 to up to 20.

The application-ready COM-HPC Server-on-Modules are supplied with board support packages for Windows, Linux and VxWorks.
