Bernd Eder is the new CEO
Bernd Eder, Chief Operating Officer of the Kontron Transportation Group and member of the extended Management Board of Kontron, is the new Chief Executive Officer of Kontron Transportation with immediate effect. He takes over the office from Michael Riegert.
The 44-year-old business administration graduate Bernd Eder was born in Carinthia and has been working in the rail industry for more than 15 years, since 2019 as Chief Operating Officer of the Kontron Transportation Group. He was appointed to the extended Management Board of Kontron in 2022. Prior to this, he was Chief Financial Officer of Kapsch Carrier Com for over ten years, where he played a leading role in the restructuring and integration into the Kontron Group . Bernd Eder succeeds Michael Riegert as CEO, who is COO IoT Europe and Executive Board Member of Kontron.
