Edge Gateway - the link between production and the cloud

The Edge Gateway is installed directly in the production environment and can pre-process the data before it is securely transferred to the cloud. HMS Networks offers a wide range of edge gateways that support typical protocols such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP or M-Bus at the production level. The direct integration of digital and analog I/Os is also possible. Data is transferred to the cloud via Ethernet, WLAN or mobile communications (3G or 4G).

Edge Broker - for secure data transmission

The Edge Broker ensures secure data transmission between production and the cloud. Data communication is encrypted end-to-end. This ensures data integrity and confidentiality. The broker manages the edge gateways installed in the field and also provides the central functions for the scalability of the solution. Users are provided with a complete professional solution right from the start.

HMS Hub - application level and cloud

From the user's perspective, the HMS Hub is the application level and actual cloud of the solution. All data is clearly displayed here. In addition to the wide range of visualization options, user administration is also part of the HMS Hub. Alarm management, extensive reporting functions and connection paths to third-party cloud solutions, such as Leonardo, Mindsphere or Azure, are also part of the HMS Hub.
